Wanda Mae Knaub, 95, of LaBelle, Missouri, has passed away, peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday (May 14th, 2024) at her home. She was the daughter of Harry C. Hahne and Grace Taylor Kruse. Born in Rockford, Illinois, on May 3rd, 1929, she was able to celebrate, with friends and family, her last 95th birthday.
Wanda was married to Lee Knaub and they resided in Lee, Illinois. She graduated from Monroe Center and graduated from the Rockford school of Cosmology. She owned and operated Wanda Lee's Beauty Shop for twenty-five years. Her husband owned and operated Lee's Excavating for fifteen years. Lee, sadly passed away on October 18th, 2002.
She was preceded in death by her father (Harry C. Hahne), mother (Grace Taylor Kruse), husband (Lee Knaub), her brother (Maynard and Martha Hahne), her brother, (Harry and Barbara Hahne Jr.), her sister (Evelyn and Francis Smolenski) and her sister (Othella and Harold Norman).
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Francis Bradley, from Dixon, Illinois; one granddaughter and her husband, Amy and Andy Runice, and two great grandchildren, from Cable, Wisconsin; four neices, Rebecca Louis Ruggles of LaBelle, Missouri, Tammy Sue Ruggles of Kirksville, Missouri, Judy Kennedy of Roscoe, Illinois and Jo Hahne of Oregon, Illinois. She is also survived by many great neices and nephews and many great great neices and nephews. She was loved will be dearly miss by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, Edina, MO.
