Virginia Pace age 85 of Kirksville, MO formerly of Edina passed away early Sunday morning, October 16, 2016 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

She was born on August 28, 1931 in Steubenville, OH to Ian Dante and Anna Monaco Pace.

Virginia was united in marriage to Guy A. Schiappa who preceded her in death on September 21, 1998 and to this union a son was born.  Later she was married to Alden G. "Jerry" Bingham who also preceded her in death on March 27, 2007.  She was also preceded in death by her parents who were from Italy.

After Virginia was born her parents returned to Italy where she was raised and attended school.  She has lived in the northeast Missouri area mainly in Kirksville and Edina.  She and her husband enjoyed walking.  They were seen many times walking in Kirksville and Edina.  She had a heavy thick Italian accent, always had a smile and will be remembered for some of her humorous stories and remarks.

Surviving is her son, Attilio V. Schiappa and his wife of France.  Virginia had a number of friends who were special to her as well as her caregivers at The Arbors in Kirksville where she had resided for nearly the past two years.  She was a member of the Catholic Church.  Virginia greatly enjoyed the beautiful patio garden at The Arbors and just being outside.

Virginia's family has selected cremation and there will be no services.
