Virginia Lynn (McKim) Aldridge, age 55, of Hurdland, MO, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, in Country Aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown, MO.

She was born in Kirksville, Missouri on November 7, 1962, the daughter of Robert Leroy and Lela Bernice Hatfield McKim.

She was united in marriage to Shawn Aldridge on August 5, 1997, in Kirksville, MO.

Surviving are her husband Shawn Aldridge of Hurdland, MO, her father Robert Leroy (Addie) McKim of LaGrange, MO, step-father Howard (Wanda) Garrett of LaPlata, MO, three daughters Karanda (Patrick) Robbins, Tonya Barnes and Catherine (Tyler) Christiansen all of Kirksville, MO, a step son Brandon Aldridge of Moberly, MO, two step daughter Katrina Hustead of Rutledge, MO and Kayla Aldridge of Moberly, MO, two brothers Jimmy Head of Kirksville, MO, and Robert L. McKim, Jr. of LaGrange, MO, two sisters Patricia McKim of Durham, MO and Brenda (Keith) Cady of Greentop, MO, and seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.  Virginia was preceded in death by her mother Lela Hatfield, her brother Robert D. McKim, Sr., and one daughter Charity McKim.

Virginia received her education in Knox County Schools.  She was employed as a CNA for Nursing Homes in Knox County, Memphis and LaBelle.  She enjoyed mowing, fishing, crocheting, and time with her grandkids and her dachshund dogs.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Local arrangements are under the direction of the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
