Tommy Lee Heimer, age 69 of Hurdland, MO, passed away Wednesday July 19, 2023, in Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO.  He was born June 16, 1954, in Edina, MO the son of Edward L. "Pete" and Betty Ruth Coslett Heimer.

Tommy graduated from Knox County High School.  He lived most of his life in Knox County with the exception of a few years in Illinois.  He worked as a farm hand and for the last fifteen years was employed with Baring Farm Service.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are one son, John Heimer and fiancée Jennifer Breshears of Kirksville, MO, one brother Michael Heimer of Hurdland, MO, three sisters Phyllis Campbell of Bee Ridge, Chris (Todd) Bunell of Unionville, MO, and Rebecca Wallace of Green City, MO, four grandchildren, Meradith Heimer, Emma Heimer, Kale Heimer, and Marcos Cazares, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, Monday, July 31, 2023, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.   Graveside services will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery south of Edina, MO.  Casket bearers will be family and friends.
