Tammy Joy Kirkpatrick, age 53, of Edina, MO, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, in the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.  She was born February 8, 1963 in Kirksville, MO.  Her parents Donald Dean Moots and Lillian Irene Jones preceded her in death.  Tammy was also preceded in death by her daughter Cassandra Kirkpatrick and a sister Donita Glaspie.

Surviving are her children Adam, Justin, Emily and Mara and several grandchildren.  Also surviving are her siblings, Dorothy (Dodie) Barton of California, Carrie Marts of Iowa, Sheila Brinkley of Iowa, Terri Carns of Iowa, David Moots of Iowa, Darrell Moots of Iowa, Donnie Moots of Minnesota,  and Tina Nelsen of Iowa.  Tammy lived most of her life in the Northeast Missouri area.  She could light up a room with her humor.  She was loved by friends and family, who will cherish their memories of her laughter.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017, in the Church of the Nazarene at Hurdland, MO.  Local arrangements are under the direction of the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
