Sue Ellen Anderson, age 75, of Lewistown, MO, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, in Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra, MO.

She was born May 19, 1946, in Urbana, IL the daughter of Richard Eugene and Helen M. Williams Roark.

Sue received her education in St. Joseph, IL.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who had an infectious smile and sense of humor.  She will be deeply missed.  She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, Skip-bo, bingo and spending time with her grandkids.   In the past, she had lived in St. Joseph, IL, Plainville, IL, Monroe City, Monticello and Lewistown.

Surviving are three children, Duane (Bernadette) Rhoades of Ft. Collins, CO, Richard (Beverly) Rhoades of Ault, CO, and Tonya (Dwayne) Austin of LaBelle, MO, one brother Joe (Geni) Roark of St. Joseph, IL and eight grandchildren.   Sue was preceded in death by her parents.

Sue will be cremated and graveside services will be held 10 AM Saturday, July 10, 2021, in the Midway Cemetery.   Reverend Jason Geisendorfer will officiate the services.  There will be no visitation.  Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle is in charge of arrangements.
