Obituary

Shirley Ann Holbert, age 70, of rural Knox City, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 in her home.
Born June 4, 1938, near LaBelle, Missouri, she was the daughter of William and Mary Richardson Hofen.
On September 15, 1957, she was united in marriage to Carlisle Holbert and he survives. This union blessed with a daughter Cathi and her husband Chris Zalusky of Douglass, Kansas and one son, Donald Holbert and wife Lori of Hallsville, Missouri.
Shirley was a graduate of LaBelle High School Class of 1956 and a member of the Newark Full Gospel Church where she served as secretary treasurer.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Ashley Campbell and Allison Zalusky of Douglass, Kansas and Donald Holbert Jr. of Hallsville, Missouri and one sister-in-law, Coleen Morrison and very special friends, Cathy and Lee Howe.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother William Junior Hofen.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri. Pastor Robert Cook will officiate the services. Burial will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.
Music will be provided by Donnie Hunter and Bill Buss.
Casket bearers will be Ronnie Richardson, Lee Howe, Donald Taylor, Mike Roberts, David Lee Walker, Mark Schaffer, John Henderson, and Richard Lund.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2009, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to the Shirley Ann Holbert Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to the Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, Missouri, 63447.
