S hirley Marie Hawkins , age 75, of Knox City, MO passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.  She was born March 11, 1949, in Knox County, MO the daughter of Charles Edward and Bertha Marie Corbin Anderson.

On July 8, 1972 in Maywood, MO she was united in marriage to Ronald D. Hawkins and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2010.

Shirley was also preceded by her parents, two sons, Robert Eugene Hawkins, and Steve Hawkins, 4 brothers Ronald Lee Anderson, Delbert Ray Anderson, Robert Wayne Anderson and Cecil Raymond Anderson.

Surviving are her children Tammy (Tom) Dye of Knox City, MO, Richard (Chantell) Hawkins of Hannibal, MO, one step-son Roger Hawkins, one brother Charles Kevin Anderson and friend Shonda Mitchell of Knox City, MO and two sisters Dorothy Wolter and Debbie Kincaid both of Knox City, MO, grandchildren Holly Dye of Columbia, MO, and Hannah Dye of Knox City, MO, and several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Shirley received her education in Knox County and spent most of her life in the LaBelle and Knox City area.  She enjoyed bowling, cards, board games, flowers and watching wrestling.

Graveside services will be held 2pm Sunday, May 19, 2024, in the Knox City Cemetery.  Reverend Doug Wilson will officiate the services.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 19th from 1 pm till 2 pm at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.

Casket bearers will be Tom Dye, Holly Dye, Hannah Dye, Ben McKay, Mike Miller, Jimmy McKay, Logan Miller.
