Obituary

Ronald Lee Anderson, age 64, of Hurdland, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
He was born in Knox County, Missouri, on February 4, 1944, the son of Charles Edward and Bertha Marie Corbin Anderson.
On November 18, 2002, at Edina, Missouri he was united in marriage to Sharlee C. McCarty.
Surviving is his wife Sharlee C. Anderson of Hurdland, Missouri, his mother Bertha Marie Anderson of Knox City, Missouri, four children, Donnie Lee Anderson of Keokuk, Iowa, Ronald Lee Anderson, Jr. and Tracy Anderson of Salem, Oregon, and Terry Baker of Monett, Missouri, step-children, Patricia Anderson of Oregon, Todd Stull of Baring, Missouri, Jeff Stull of Port Fort, Louisiana, Carla Ausmus of Edina, Missouri, Sheila Holdren of Baring, Missouri, Kim Stull of Knox City, Missouri, David Mason and Lill Walton both of Hurdland, Missouri, Tina Longano and Barb Lohaus both of Brashear, Missouri, four brothers, Cecil Anderson and Barb of LaGrange, Missouri, Robert Anderson and Cheryl of Knox City, Missouri, Kevin Anderson of Jefferson City, Missouri, Delbert Anderson of Canton, Missouri, three sisters, Shirley Marie Hawkins and Ronald, Dorothy Wolters and Debbie Kincaid all of Knox City, Missouri, numerous grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ronald was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, and one grandson, T.J. Baker.
Ronald attended school at Knox City, Missouri. He was employed as a mechanic in Raytown and Kansas City, Bill Bartz at LaBelle for several years, and Cardwell Lumber for several years retiring in 2006.
Ronald enjoyed fishing, hunting, loved his dogs and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2009, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. The Reverend Robert Shobe will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Hurdland I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hurdland, Missouri.
Musical selections will be "Seven Spanish Angels" by Willie Nelson, "Green Green Grass of Home" by Porter Waggoner, and "Angels Among" Us by Alabama.
Casket bearer will be Brian Mason, Brock Baker, Phil Hamlin, Tom Dye, Kevin Shanley and Alan Howes.
Visitation will be after 12 noon on Sunday, January 11, 2009, till time of services at 2 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.
