Robert (Bob) Miles, age 92, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 14, 2022.  He was born July 26, 1929 in Shelby County, Missouri, the son of Joseph and Cora Miles. Bob was united in marriage to Valeta Rose Dettwiler on September 3, 1950, in Iowa City, Iowa.  Serving in the United States Army, Bob was awarded the Combat Medic Badge for his service on the DMZ in the Korean War.  He loved refurbishing furniture, playing canasta, watching wildlife and old westerns.  Bob was a member of the Brethren Church, Cherry Box, Missouri.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife of sixty-nine years, Vee; daughter, Christine Nagel; brothers, Carl, Lawrence, Joe, Dean and sisters, Alice and Bernice.

Survivors include one son, Steven (Donna) Miles of Cabot, Arkansas; two daughters, Joanne (Gary) Arnold of McGregor, Texas and Michelle (Robert) Wikowski of Beebe, Arkansas; brothers, Ken, Mark, Curtis, Gerald, John and Merle; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022 with his grandson, Reverend Ryan Arnold, officiating at Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Cherry Box, Missouri.   Full Military Honors will be held.
