Otis Eugene White, age 67, of rural Edina, MO, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026 in Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia, MO.

The son of John S. and Sarah J. Cooper White. Otis was born June 18, 1959 in St. Joseph, MO.

He was united in marriage to Brandi Green on April 1, 2025 in Edina, MO.

Otis received his education in St. Joseph, MO. He served his country in the United States Army in from 1977 to 1979 serving two years 6 months and two days.

Otis was employed in construction all his life and had worked all over the country. He enjoyed Deer and Teal hunting, spoon billing, going for rides on his side by side. He loved football and was a big Kansas City Chiefs’ fan. He enjoyed time with his grandbabies and great grandbabies and holding them.

Surviving are his wife Brandi of Edina, MO, seven children, Otis (Monica) White, Jr. of Bolckow, MO, Jodie White of St. Joseph, MO, Justin (Kristen) White, of St. Joseph, MO, Brent White of Albany, MO, Lexie (Alex) Mues of Sundance, WY, Logan (Shyla) White of Warsaw, MO, and Lucas Green of Edina, MO, brothers Frank (Casey) White, Roy White, sisters Joyce (Lawrence) Sanderson, Donna Munsterman, Sarah (Lowell) Brashears and Judy (Butch) Taylor, brothers and sisters-in-law Tony Miles, Shawn Goodwin, Jacki (Rich) Lee, Julie (Jonah) Green, Anna (Bryson) Applegate, his mother and father-in-law Karen and Luther Green and his grandmother-in-law Ruth Tague, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father John and Sarah White, brothers and sisters, James White, Kenneth white, Juanita Smith, Fred White, Donna Miles, Frank Colhour.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Full Military Honors will follow the services by Cyril Graham American Legion Post # 261 and Knox County Memorial Post # 4822 VFW.

Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
