Nancy Lee Mullins, age 79, of Newark, MO, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, in Country Aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown, MO after a long illness with Alzheimer's.

She was born December 13, 1939, in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Dallas and Esther Pruett McKinney.  She was united in marriage to Donnie Ray Mullins on June 22, 1968 in Hannibal, MO and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2009.  Nancy was also preceded in death by her parents and two step children, Don Mullins, Jr. and Judy Mullins, and her dog Tink.

Surviving are two children, Debbie Franks of Newark, MO, and Jeff (Connie) Miller of Newark, MO, one brother Larry (Sharon) McKinney, of Newark, MO, three grandchildren, Kathleen (Drew) Barnett of Perry, MO, Jessica (Josh) Hudson of Ewing, MO, and Kendra Miller of LaBelle, MO, six great grandchildren, Landry and Aubree Barnett, Avalynn and Jolee Hudson, and Caden and Carter Goodwin, two sister-in-law's, Bonnie (Junior) Huddleston of Liberty, IL and Donna Mullins of Payson, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy received her education in Edina where she graduated from High School.  Nancy and Donnie lived in Quincy, IL for several years before moving to Newark, MO.  Nancy was employed for many years in the healthcare industry.   She was employed at the Hostel House, Heartland, and Country Aire Retirement Estates.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, baking, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Reverend Elmer Hagood will officiate the services.  Burial will be in the Newark Cemetery.  Musical selections will be Precious Memories and I Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone.

Casket bearers will be Drew Barnett, Josh Hudson, David Walker, Tim Kincaid, Bill Wiseman and Jeff Miller.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 15, 2019, from 12 noon till time of services at 2 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
