Nadon Marie Hayes, age 57 of Novelty, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at her home in Novelty, MO.

She was born December 19, 1968, in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of John William and Donna Kay Gipson Rowlison.

She was married to Leon hayes and he preceded her in death.

Nadon is survived by her significant other Gary Sykes of Novelty, MO, three children, Cynthia (jay) Jeffers of Kirksville, MO, Cory Rowlison of Kirksville, MO, and Kirk Ammons of Kirksville, MO, one step daughter Shauni Sykes of Edina, MO, one sister Angela (James) Justice of Edina, MO, two brothers, Greg (Kay) Rowlison of Macon, MO, and Gary (Rhonda) Rowlison of Odessa, MO, two grandchildren Henry Ammons and Reuben Dukes-Salazar, aunts and uncles Connie Hyde of Jefferson City, MO, Beverly (David) Arment of Edina, MO, Bonnie (Dale) Bowen of Edina, MO, Gloria (Kenny) Dooley of Novelty, MO, Helen Rowlison of Hurdland, MO, and Gene Yoakum of Brashear, MO, several nieces, nephews and cousins, a great uncle William White or Virginia and special friends Jim and Jennifer Hajeck of Mercer, MO.

Nadon was preceded in death by her parents John and Donna Rowlison, her husband Leon Hayes, and her grandparents Woody and Evelyn Gipson and Richard and Irene Rowlison and her uncle Roger Gipson.

Nadon graduated from Knox County High School and had been employed at Knox County Nursing Home, Hollister’s in Kirksville, PSF and Murphy Brown in Milan. She loved all animals especially goats and cows. She enjoyed time spent with her family.

Nadon will be cremated and a Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
