Mildred Louise Parrish age 88 of Gorin, MO passed away, Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Knox County Nursing Home at Edina, MO.

Born August 31, 1934, at Knox City, MO she was a daughter of Pearl and Cora Arlene McFadden Morrison.

Surviving are one son, Mike Parrish & wife, Diane of Gorin, MO, grandchildren & great grandchildren, Cora Webster & Jeff of Overland Park, KS & children, Finley & Kellan; Travis Pinson & wife, Terry of Etowah, TN & children, Cheyanne White & Ben of Etowah, TN & their son, Cole; Sean Pinson & Brianna Pinson all of Etowah, TN; Mitchell Pinson of Kirksville, MO & children, Gunnar, Emberlyn, Mariah and Maverick; Katie Parrish, of Kansas City, MO and Kristie & Cole Higgenbotham of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Betty Erickson & Ralph of Gorin, MO and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Parrish was preceded in death by her parents; four daughters, Wilma Parrish, Melba Tull, Nellie Zweifel and Dixie Parrish; three brothers, Junior, Jessie and Robert Morrison; two sisters, Elma Chancelor and Hazel Jeffries; and two grandsons, Josh and Scott Pinson.

Mildred had a great love for the outdoors; she loved flowers, working in her yard, gardening and all baby animals.  She was devoted to her family.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Reverend Mike Wilson will officiate the services.  Music selections will be go "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "Grandma's Garden".

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from noon until the time of services at the funeral Home.

Burial will be at the South Bethel Cemetery, NW of Rutledge, MO.  Casket bearers will be Mitchel Pinson, Gunnar Pinson, Travis Pinson, Dustin Shelton, Cole Higgenbotham and Justin Clark.
