Obituary

Mildred Louise Conger, age 82, of Lewistown, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013, in her home in Lewistown, MO. She was born November 10, 1930, in Knox County, Missouri, the daughter of Roscoe and Pauline Kathryn Dyer Smith.
She was united in marriage to Billy Ray Conger, Sr. at Edina, MO on January 8, 1968.
Surviving are her husband Billy Ray Conger, Sr. of Lewistown, MO, one son J. Marvin Goodwin and wife Mary, of Lewistown, MO, one daughter Kathy Henschen and husband Donald of Mt. Olive, IL, two step sons, Billy R. Conger, Jr., and wife Debbie of Kahoka, MO, Ronnie E. Conger and wife Mary of Whiteside, MO, one sister Bessie Baker of Memphis, MO, fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, one son Kenneth Goodwin and one daughter Evelyn Goodwin.
Mildred resided in Knox and Lewis Counties all her life, where she was employed as a nurse's aide in Lewis County, MO. She enjoyed nature immensely, finding beauty in her surroundings. She liked handiwork and made many afghans for those she loved.
Mildred was a member of Gideon's International Auxiliary and the LaBelle First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO. Brother James Renot will officiate the services. Burial will be in Lewistown Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Terry Bourret, Dr. James Mann, Wendell Kreider, Larry Vaugh, Justin Gibson and Maurice Turnbull.
Honorary bearers will be Walter Adams, Monte Corbin and Leland Doscher.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, till time of services at 11 a.m. in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
Memorials may be made to Gideon International Memorial Bible Program. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, MO 63447.
