Michael "Mike" Eugene Taylor passed away, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at his residence in Plevna, MO.  He was born on December 2, 1944 to Albert "Toots" and Lucille Margaret (Hunter) Taylor.

May, 27, 1978 in Knox City, MO he was united in marriage to Judy Ann Cale Partin.  She preceded him in death on August 19, 2007.

Mike is survived by a son, Jason (Morgan) Partin of Iberia, MO; one granddaughter, Luna Partin; four grandsons, Mason, Michael, Marcus and Marshall Partin; two great grandchildren, Bo and Luke Partin, aunt Pauline Rouner, several cousins including Suzanne Spees, Teresa (Bart) Raines, and Michell Davis (Reo) Haines.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and a son, Sean Partin.

Mike graduated from the Novelty High School in 1963.  He begin working with his father in the Taylor Trucking business.  After the death of his father he continued the business.  He had several trucks and drivers that transported agricultural products to different elevators and businesses.  In another two or three years Taylor Trucking would have been 100 years old.

He and his wife Judy, also owned and operated Judy's Diner in Edina for fifteen years.

Mike enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He attended many business gatherings at the coffee table at Lucky's Café in Edina with friends.    In his spare time he also enjoyed collecting model trucks.  He never knew a stranger and he will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina, MO.  Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00pm prior to the service.  Pastor Nancy Douglas will officiate the services.

Interment will be at the Locust Hill Cemetery, West of Novelty, MO, following services.
