Obituary

Mary Jane McKenzie, age 74, of Knox City, MO, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013, in the LaBelle Manor Care Center in LaBelle, MO.
She was born December 18, 1938, in Knox County, MO the daughter of Harry Benjamin and Mary Evelyn Rouner Simpson.
She was united in marriage to G.W. Baltzelle in 1957 and to this union two children were born. She married Kenneth F. McKenzie December 7, 1973, in LaBelle, MO.
Surviving are her husband Kenneth F. McKenzie of Knox City, MO, two children Troy Baltzelle and wife Evette of LaBelle, MO and Kimberly Bain and husband Dave of Trenton, MO, one son raised in the home Subbe Bemis and wife Twila and son Travis Bemis of Shell Knob, MO, one step son Kenneth Randall McKenzie of Gilbert, AZ, one granddaughter Alexandria Bain of Trenton, MO, one step grandson Aaron Randall McKenzie of Collinsville, IL, one brother Jack Simpson and wife Yonlene of Denver, CO, three nephews Harry, Lin and Hal Simpson and several great nieces and nephews and several cousins including Harry Lee Holman and wife Virginia of Hurdland, MO.
Mary Jane graduated from Edina High School. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was an X-Ray Technician at LaBelle Clinic for several years. She also worked as a private secretary for Sherry Herschend in Branson, MO. Mary Jane loved spending time with her granddaughter and also singing, traveling and being an active member of Knox City Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Dewayne Wellborn will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Knox City Cemetery. Music will be provided by Harry Lee Holman singing How Great Thou Art and a congregational hymn "Amazing Grace".
Casket bearers will be Myral Dean Watson, Phil Duane, David Hatfield, Allen Hatfield, Lin Simpson, Hal Simpson and Harry Simpson.
Honorary bearers will be Dave Bain, Jimmy Lasswell, Scott Hoffman, Mackie Johnston, Wade Goodson, David Bradley, Keith Pulse, Ron Sayres, Eugene Ward and Bobby Pape.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. till time of services at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2013, in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
Memorials in memory of Mary Jane McKenzie may be made to Knox City Christian Church or Knox City Cemetery. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, MO 63537.
