Marty Joseph Johnson, of Quincy, IL passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL surrounded by family and friends.

He was born in Quincy, IL on May 8, 1985, the son of Martin Joseph Russell and Penny Lynn Spillman Johnson.

Marty enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, fishing, swimming and watching his Dallas Cowboys.

Surviving are his paternal grandfather Joseph Davis of Durham, MO, maternal grandparents, Robert Spillman and Leota Christ both of Quincy, IL, one sister Melissa (Alec) Dedert of St. Louis, MO, several aunts and uncles, Dawn and Debbie Johnson, Michael Johnson, Peggy (Terry) Chambers, Patty (Mark) Parrick, Robert (Malisa) Spillman, Earl Spillman, David (Becky) Spillman and several cousins.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Darlene Davis, one brother Robert Roy Johnson and one Uncle Ricky Cook.

Marty will be cremated and no services will be held.  Burial will be at a later date in the LaBelle Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
