Marjorie Ann Aucutt, age 81, of Edina, MO, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011, at the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, MO.
She was born in Knox County, MO, April 22, 1930, the daughter of James E. and Coleta Gail Goodwin Karhoff.
She was united in marriage to Bobby Francis Aucutt November 6, 1947, at Canton, MO and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother Larry Karhoff, two brothers-in-law, David Shahan and Jerry Childress, and a sister-in-law Doris Karhoff.
Surviving are three children, Michael Aucutt and wife Anita of Pennsylvania, Dennis Aucutt and wife Trish of Florida, and Pamela Seppelt and husband mark of Springfield, IL, one brother, James Junior Karhoff and wife Carla of Auxvasse, MO, two sisters, Peggy Shahan of Moberly, MO, and Minnie Childress of Edina, MO, one half brother and two half sisters from Auxvasse, MO, one sister-in-law Bonnie Karhoff of Mexico, MO, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Marjorie was a housewife and homemaker. She lived all her life in Knox County, MO where she attended schools. Marjorie had served in the Knox County precincts as an election judge. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Marjorie enjoyed sewing, knitting, bowling, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Ken Berry will officiate the services. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Music will be provided by Brent Karhoff, soloist and Nancy Reardon, organist.
Casket bearers will be Albert Dye, Ray Prebe, Brent Karhoff, Jim Gonnerman, Bobby Hunolt and Doyle Shahan.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011, after 4 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. A Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
