Louveta Pearl Brumbaugh, age 96, of Lewistown, MO, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, in Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, MO.  She was born September 3, 1921, in Tolona, MO, the daughter of Harvey Selves and Bessie Jane East Keller.

She was united in marriage to Elmer Everett Brumbaugh on March 25, 1940, in Monticello, MO and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1993.  Louveta was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Pansy Benner and her husband James, Annie Gaus and her husband Ercil, her son Gene Brumbaugh and daughter-in-law Joyce Brumbaugh, and a brother-in-law Wilbur Lair.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Brumbaugh and companion Kathern Wilson of Hannibal, MO, Delbert Brumbaugh and his wife Marilyn of Canton, MO, one daughter Mary Prisner and her companion Larry Zanger of LaGrange, MO, one daughter-in-law Dianne Brumbaugh of Lewistown, MO, eleven grandchildren, Helen Roberts, Rodney, Jeff, Bobby, Theresa and Karen Brumbaugh, Vickie Moutray, Jeremy, Jason and Justin Brumbaugh and Michael Prisner, sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, two step grandchildren, one sister Ruth Lair of Lewistown, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louveta received her education in Tolona Schools.  She was a housewife, homemaker and mother.  She was employed for several years as a CNA at LaBelle Manor.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning, flowers, cooking and her cat collection.  She was a member of the Talona Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.   Officiating the services will be Dale Stice.  Musical selections will be Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.  Burial will be in the Lewistown Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Rodney, Jeremy, Jason, Justin and Bobby Brumbaugh and Larry Zanger.

Honorary bearers will be Jeff Brumbaugh, Helen Roberts, Theresa Brumbaugh, Karen Brumbaugh, Vickie Moutray and Michael Prisner.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2018, after 4 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Coder Funeral Chapel.
