Lorna Jane Anderson, age 78 of Knox City, MO passed away, Sunday mornig, May 8, 2016 at the Country Aire Retirement Estate at Lewistown, MO.

Born January 5, 1938 in Knox City, MO she was a daughter of Lowell Willington and Fleta May Leckbee Goodwin. On January 7, 1977 she was united in marriage to Charles Anderson who preceded her in death on January 12, 1989.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sons, Robert Kent Brooks and James Kerry Brooks and a brother, Robert Gene Goodwin in 2005.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Jeanne Shaver and husband Randy of Brashear, MO, Robert Eugene Goodwin of Knox City, MO; Dennis James Goodwin & companion, Christy Little of LaBelle, MO and Pamela Sue Redding and husband, Randy of Baring, MO; a sister-in-law, Betty Carol Goodwin of Knox City, MO and a special friend, Chris Bliefert of Gorin, MO.

Mrs. Anderson was reared and attended school in Knox City. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family and friends. Lorna was a member of the Knox City Assembly of God Church.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Knox City Cemetery, Knox City, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home of Edina, MO.
