Obituary

Lisa D. Walter, age 46, of LaBelle, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at the LaBelle Manor Care Center in LaBelle, Missouri.
She was born on August 11, 1963, in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Larry and Donna Jean Turner Miller.
On June 9, 1979, in LaBelle, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Bill Walter.
Surviving are her husband Bill Walter of LaBelle, Missouri, her mother Jean Miller of LaBelle, Missouri, her mother-in-law, Loretta Walter of LaBelle, Missouri, three children, Stephanie Keim and husband Doug of Canton, Missouri, Robbie Walter and wife Jeannie of LaBelle, Missouri, Tiffanie May of LaBelle, Missouri, five grandchildren, Riley, Nataleigh and Clara Keim of Canton, Missouri, Anthony Walter and Remington May of LaBelle, Missouri, two brothers, Larry D. Miller and wife Tami of Ewing, Missouri, Tom Miller and wife Mary of Quincy, Illinois, one sister Debbie Sharpe and friend Bruce Schnieder of Des Moines, Iowa, two sisters-in-law, Nancy Gaus and husband Phil of LaBelle, Missouri, and Dianna Wilson and husband Sam of LaBelle, a special friend Jamie McCabe of Knox City, Missouri, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father Larry Miller, grandparents George and Elaine Turner and father-in-law Ellis Walter.
Lisa graduated from Highland High School. She was employed as a CNA-CMT at LaBelle Manor in LaBelle, Missouri. She was a member and past president of LaBelle Harvest Fest, a member of LaBelle Fire Department and First Responders, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ewing, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri. Reverend Tim Smith will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Knox City Cemetery.
Musical selections will be "Sissy's Song" by Alan Jackson and "If I Had Only Known" by Reba McIntire.
Casket bearers will by Lester Coleman, Dale Hartsock, Donnie Zahn, Greg Doscher, Marion Goehl and Richard Mauck.
Honorary bearers will be her grandchildren and Ruben and Sam Miller.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 26, 2009, after 4 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to LaBelle Fire Department or Hospice of Northeast Missouri. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, Missouri, 63447.
