Larry Eugene Parrish, age 63, of Gorin, MO, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at his home in Gorin.  He was born June 4, 1961, in Kirksville, MO the son of Donald Ray and Helen Louise Goodwin Parrish.

Larry graduated from Knox County High School.  In his earlier years he was employed at the Baring Station with Doug Mayer.  He later worked for Cardwell Lumber, Pepsi Cola, and Kraft Foods.  Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting animals and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are four siblings, Ronald Ray Parrish and Kristy of Kirksville, MO, Phyllis Mallett of Memphis, MO, Brenda Parrish and J.L. Newland of Queen City, MO, Donna Walsh and Mark Pender of Memphis, MO, and Jennifer Dickerson and Eric of Memphis, MO, and several nieces and nephews.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Steve Parrish and brother-in-law Kent Mallett.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.   Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and services will follow at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, MO.  Officiating the services will be Brenda Parrish, Deanna Rowland and Kisha Lay.  Musical selections will be Hunting Fishing and Loving Every day, Beat You there, and Amazing Grace.

Casket bearers will be Tanner Alexander, Travis James, Doug Mayer, Gary Mayer, Darin Parrish, and George Morrison.
