Lanny Dale Bowen, age 68, of LaBelle, MO, passed away Wednesday, March, 21, 2018, in the LaBelle Manor in LaBelle.

He was born April 19, 1949, in Quincy, IL the son of John Junior and Helen Anderson Bowen.  He was united in marriage to Jane Carol Shubert on January 3, 1970 in Edina, MO.  Lanny received his education at Edina, MO.  He was employed for several years at the Edina Glove Factory and later moved to Arkansas where he was employed with Tyson Foods.  He then moved to Kirksville, Mo where he was employed with Adair foods and Sparks Contractors for several years until his retirement.  Lanny enjoyed fishing, attending the Colony Flea Market and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife Jane Bowen of LaBelle, MO, one daughter, Patricia Howes and fiancée Jeff Cline of Memphis, MO, two step children, Joe Bauyan of Orlando, FL and Tina (Carl) Miller of Kirksville, MO, a brother Danny Bowen and one step brother Carl (Corrine) Raine all of LaBelle, MO, nine grandchildren, Ashley (Kile) Austin, Austin Howes, Nova Cline, Penelope Cline, Amie Shahan, Corey Miller, Brooklin Briggs, Preston Miller and Lanny Joe Bauyan, ten great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Janice (Kim) Smith of Edina, MO, and a brother-in-law Jerry Shubert of LaGrange, MO.

Lanny was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Bonnie Robertson and a grandchild Codey Howes.

Funeral services will be held, 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Reverend Graig Connell will officiate the services.  Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Austin Howes, Kile Austin, Corey Miller, Preston Miller, Randall Shahan and Tyler Briggs.

Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, till time of services at 3 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
