Kenneth Lee Howe, of LaBelle, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at the age of 73 while working near his home in rural LaBelle MO.
Kenneth was born June 11, 1946, in rural LaBelle, MO the son of Kenneth and Elizabeth Howe who preceded him in death.
Lee graduated from Lewis Co R-1 High School in 1964. While in high school Lee was active in FFA and won many awards for running track.
Lee graduated from University of Missouri in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
Lee and Cathy were married March 27, 1991, lived in rural LaBelle MO and enjoying farming for many years.
Lee had the heart of a servant and loved to help people. Lee was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church of Ewing MO, actively attending Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Steffenville MO, and loved attending Heartland Community Church for Sunday evening services. Lee greatly enjoyed seeing the power of God change lives with restoration and healing.
Lee leaves two sisters, Carol & Kent VanMeter of Brookfield MO and Betty & Ed Evans of Eldon MO, a son Kenny & Evony Howe (Airforce) with grandchildren: Kimber and Kenna, a daughter: Cynthia & Eric London of Baltimore MD with grandchildren: Valery and Ryan, a son: Brian & Amber Howe of Republic MO with grandchildren: Lacie and Kinzie and a son: Adam Simmons of LaBelle MO.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 AM Saturday December 7, 2019, in the sanctuary of Heartland Community Church, 6434 Shelby 150, Bethel MO. There will be a dinner coordinated by Mount Pleasant and Mount Olivet for the family following the service.
