Karen Kigar Light, age 68 of Bethel, MO, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Karen was born on October 12, 1956, the daughter of Jackie Lee and Darrell Jean Heimer Kigar.  Karen was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Angela Dawn Hayes.

Karen graduated from Knox County High School and Kirksville Beauty Academy.   Karen spent many years raising and caring for animals. Her ability to love unconditionally carried her through many trials and tribulations. Her faith was unwavering and now that Karen has passed into the arms of the Lord her physical life on earth is over but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her.

Karen's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
