John Alan Jett, age 46 of LaBelle, MO passed away Monday, October 15, 2012, in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born October 23, 1965, at Quincy, IL, the son of John Elva and Lena Fern Woodworth Jett.
He was united in marriage to Rosemary Biles on June 18, 1989, at Lewistown, MO.
Surviving is Rosemary Jett of LaBelle, MO, two children, James Timothy Jett and wife Jacqueline of Canton, MO, and Brookelynn Marie Jett of LaBelle, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Carolyn Sue Bonnell.
John graduated from Knox County High School in Edina, MO. Most of his life he resided in Knox and Lewis Counties. He was employed for several years with Terribles Casino in LaGrange, MO as a card dealer. John was very family oriented. He loved his job and enjoyed hunting, collecting guns and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, at Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO. Reverend Sam Smith and Reverend Lance Bonnell will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Memorial Cemetery at LaGrange, MO.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012, after 4 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
