Obituary
Jarvis Dean Carr, 53 of Kirksville, MO passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his home.
Jarvis was born on June 18, 1960 in Anderson, IN the son of Ruben and Pauline (Sanders) Carr.
Jarvis is survived by son, Christopher Carr of Bible Grove, MO; brothers, Rick of Edina, MO and Buddy Lyons of Mockville, N.C.; sisters, Dorothy Carr of Edina, MO, Lanna Reach of Angleville, IL, Marilyn Sheppherd of West Frankfort, IL and Carolyn Carr of Indiana; grandchildren, Micah Carr and Angel Carr and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Frances, Joyce and one in infancy.
Jarvis came to Missouri at an early age. He spent most of his life living in the Knox County area. Attending and graduating from Knox County High School. Over the years he worked for the Glove Factory in Edina, MO, IBP plant in Columbus Junction, IA, the Florshiem Shoe Factory in Kirksville and Twin Pines Adult Care Center until his health failed.
Jarvis has been cremated and a service will be held at a later time.
The family is assisted by the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.
