Janice F. Echternkamp, age 95, of Edina, MO, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, in the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, MO.

She was born June 5, 1926, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Frank H. Finck, Sr. and Marguerite Silva Hopkins. She was united in marriage to Herbert John Echternkamp on August 9, 1946 in Bluff Hall Church in Adams County, IL and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2007 in Edina, MO.   Janice was also preceded by her parents a grandson John Wottman, a brother Frank Finck, Jr. and three sisters Dorothy Pflum, Clara Knoche and Ruth Smith.

Surviving are two daughters, Diane Willis and husband Dennis of Canton, MO, Jane Campbell and husband Eldon of Edina, MO, nine grandchildren, Cindy (John) Wietholder, Paul (Angie) Blanton, Denise (Steven) Spears, Tami (John, Jr.) Friedhoff, Christopher (Jamie) Campbell, Matthew (Johnna) Campbell, Melissa (Rick) Yoakum, and Joseph Campbell, twenty-four great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including John Knoche of LaGrange, MO.

Janice attended schools in Hannibal, MO.  She and her husband lived in the Quincy area several years where she was employed with Ely-Walker Sewing, Dixie Cream Donut Shop and HyVee.  Janice enjoyed gardening, crocheting, games on computer and iPad, reading and spending time with family and friends.  She and her husband were members of Bluff Hall Church.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2021, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Burial will be in Bluff Hall Cemetery in Adams County, IL.  Officiating will be Reverend Graig Connell.

Casket bearers will be Chris Campbell, Matt Campbell, Joe Campbell, Rick Yoakum, Ethan Campbell and Jeremy Yoakum.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 29 ^th from 12 noon until time of services at 2 p.m. in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
