Jani Reed Miller age 88, of LaBelle, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.  She was born July 30, 1936, in Williamstown, MO the daughter of Ernest Shaw and Gladys Mae Bishoff Reed.  She was united in marriage to Robert Daniel (Bobby Dan) Miller in LaBelle, MO and he preceded her in death on November 7, 1984.  Jani was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Billie M, one great grandchild Isaiah Miller and a close friend, Sam Garnett.

Surviving are two children, Robert Reed (Leanna) Miller of Bethel, MO, and Janee' Kayline (Alan) Morgret of Edina, MO, two sisters Waunita Pauline Roby of Santa Cruz, CA, and Jennifer Kay (Max) Rockwell of Elsberry, MO, four grandchildren, Crystal Miller, Rob (Gina) Miller, Daniel (Katie) Miller and Amber Morgret, great grandchildren, Hunter Klauser, Miler Strothoff, Elijah Miller, Zoe Miller, Oliver Miller, Zayli, Eleanor and Marshall Miller and Hudson Woolston.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Jani graduated from LaBelle High School, attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville, MO, and graduated from Gem City Beauty College.

Jani worked a short time as a hair dresser and also a bookkeeper for the farm and associated farm businesses.  She was an avid traveler, was a member of Dicks Dolphins Swim Group at Quincy YMCA.  She was active member of the LaBelle Baptist Church and served as board member.  Jani was always involved with her family.  She was always there and was their biggest cheerleader.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.  Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. and services will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.  Music will be provided by Tony and Susan Job.  Burial will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Daniel Miller, Rob Miller, Elijah Miller, Hunter Klauser, Brent Rockwell, Ryan Rockwell and Kirk Roby.
