Jane Lea Binkley, age 60, of Hurdland, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. She was born June 5, 1955, in Edina, MO, the daughter of Ralph and Ruth Elizabeth Fleak Wise.
She was united in marriage to Calvin Robertson December 11, 1969 and two this union two children were born, Teresa and Ruth Ann. On December 4, 1977 she was married to Clifford Garrett and two this union three children were born, Sheila, Sara and Douglas. On January 8, 1994, she was married to Kenneth Binkley. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband's Clifford Garrett and Kenneth Binkley.
Surviving are her five children, Teresa Waddill of LaBelle, MO, Ruth Ann Robertson of Kirksville, MO, Sheila Sykes of Hurdland, MO, Sara Florea and husband Billy of Florissant, MO, and Douglas Garrett of Hurdland, MO, a daughter-in-law Christy Garrett of Hurdland, MO, sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Jane received her education in Knox County Schools and received her degree as a License Practical Nurse in 1992. Jane was employed as a truck driver and a school bus driver for several years. For the past 42 years she was employed as a L.P.N. in Knox, Lewis and Adair Counties.
Jane loved horses, yard sales, reading, sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Edina United Methodist Church and a member of Kirksville Order of The Eastern Star Chapter # 184 in Kirksville, MO.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2016, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Brother Robert Shobe will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Campgrounds Cemetery near Downing, MO.
Casket bearers will be James Peterson, Keith Murphy, Trevor Fields, Dakota Botkin, Randy Craig, Andy Heimer, Curtis Crandall and John McGlothlin.
Honorary bearers will be Mike Anthony, Douglas Garrett, Stephen Waddill, Melvin Rimer, Melvin Lee Rimer, Randy Walton, Gary Sykes, John Heimer, Calvin Robertson and Mike Dennis.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
Eastern Star services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening in the Funeral Home conducted by Kirksville O.E.S. Chapter # 184.
