Ileen Marie Mead age 58 of Lewistown, Missouri passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in St. Louis, MO.
Born February 26, 1955, in St. Louis, Mrs. Mead was a daughter of Vernon Franklin and Ann Marie Murphy McClure. On September 14, 1974 she was united in marriage to Rick Allen Mead who preceded her in death on August 9, 1993.
Surviving are three children and seven grandchildren: Rick Mead and wife, Jenny and their children Ethan, Elijah, Sydney and Hannah of Durham, MO; Kelly Collins and her son, Wyatt of Fenton, MO and Melissa Kaylor and husband, Brian and their daughters Shelby and Ashley of Lewistown, MO; also surviving are one brother, Vernon M. McClure and his wife, Mary and their children Kierston and Albert of Springfield, MO.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband.
Mrs. Mead was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in St. Louis, MO. She was employed at General Mills in Hannibal for a number of years. Ileen enjoyed being at home and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2013 at the LaBelle Cemetery, LaBelle, MO. Reverend Clayton Peak will officiate the service. Services are under the direction of Coder Funeral Chapel, LaBelle. MO. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Mead may be made to the Grandchildren's Educational Fund or to the United Methodist Church of Monticello. The memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, MO 63557
