Howard Wayne Parrish, age 74 of Baring, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016, in the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, MO.

He was born August 11, 1942, in Knox County, MO the son of Donivan Glenn and Nellie Lucille Galbrecht Parrish.  He was united in marriage to Janet Walker July 5, 1977, in Memphis, MO.

Surviving are his wife Janet Parrish of Baring, MO, one daughter Renee Schrage and husband Joe of Baring, MO, one son Justin Parrish and friend Jennifer Black of Kansas City, MO, one step son Jerran Higgins and wife Amanda of Newark, CA, one brother Eldon L. Parrish and wife Gretchen of Baring, MO, two sisters Patricia Jean Martin and husband Wayne of Memphis, MO, and Mary Kay Scott of Lancaster, CA, seven grandchildren, Sadie Jo (Cody) Moore, Sheyenne Schrage, Zackery Joseph Schrage, Sage Higgins, Liam Higgins, Logan Parrish and Hudson Parrish, four great grandchildren, Kayden Moore, Kameron Moore, Kelsey Moore and Jacoby Parrish, and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Twila Parrish, one son Allen Wayne Parrish, and two brothers Jerry Don Parrish and James Leslie Parrish.

Fidlo was raised in Knox County where he received his education in rural schools.  He was employed for 58 years as a Truck Driver.  First with Hustead's Trucking in Baring, MO for several years, then many years for his self.  Fidlo enjoyed riding horses, raising cattle and spending time in the Mountains.  He also enjoyed time he spent in Grand Junction, CO where he worked for a brief time in a Uranium Mine.  But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Officiating the services will be Dog Kenney.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Northeast of Edina, MO.

Musical selections will be "When I Get Where I'm Going",  "I've Been Everywhere" and "You Should Be Here".

Casket bearers will be John Wood, Darrin Triplett, Trevor Bryant, Kenny Sutter, Danny Hocker and Joe Eisehbeiss.

Honorary bearers will be Jim McRoberts, Kevin Strange, Marty Davidson, Sid Wellman, Eddy Norman, Tim Schantz, Russell Schultz and Dan Sullivan.

Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016, with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer funeral Home in Edina, MO.
