Obituary

Greg Earl Bridgman, age 65, of Bethel, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at his home east of Bethel, MO.  He was born in Hannibal, MO on September 14, 1959, the son of Marion (Glenn) Bridgman and Barbara Joan Malcom Bridgman.  He was united in marriage to Flora Frances Bonnel Grant on December 7, 2012, in Branson, MO.

Surviving are his wife Flora Bridgman of rural Bethel, MO, two children Adam (Jenny) Bridgman of Hannibal, MO and Amber (Cale) Licklider of Lee's Summitt, MO, two step children Holly (Grant) Harris of Craig, CO and Hannah (Jesse) Hill of Maxwell, IA, one sister Kathy Pryor of Nelsonville, MO, three brothers Bruce (Kathy) Bridgman, Matt (Sue) Bridgman and Tim (Tina) Bridgman all of Nelsonville, MO, ten grandchildren Landon Bridgman, Leo Bridgman, Ella Harris, Joseph Harris, Isaiah Hill, Jonah Hill, Noah Hill, Anabel Hill, Hope Hill and Jerimiah Hill, and several nieces and nephews.   Greg was preceded in death by his parents.

Greg graduated from Marion County R II High School.   Greg was engaged in farming most of his life in the Nelsonville area and the last part of his life worked as an over the road truck driver for Landstar. Greg enjoyed traveling with his wife, attending his grandchildren's activities, and spending time at home with his family.  In earlier years he taught the youth group in Emden Baptist Church and also taught at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Awana program.  Greg attended the LaBelle Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, in the Nelsonville Baptist Church.  Reverend James Renot will officiate the services.  Burial will be in the Nelsonville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Tim Bridgman, Bruce Bridgman, Matt Bridgman, Jim Myers, Adam Bridgman, Cale Licklider and Konner Bridgman.

Memorials are suggested to the Nelsonville Cemetery.  Memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
