Frank M. Poore, age 83, of Quincy, IL formerly of Knox County, MO, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Quincy.

He was born at home on October 14 1940, in Knox County, MO the son of Raymond Elgin and Mary Gertrude Smith Poore.

He was united in marriage to Betty A. Burkhardt on June 12, 1965 in Edina, MO.

Surviving are his wife Betty Poore of Quincy, IL, sister, Mary Louise Blackford of Shelbyville, MO, Mason Poore of Columbia, MO, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, friends and class mates.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, one son Paul M. Poore, siblings, Bobby, Jimmy, Martha, Dickie, Doc and Thompson, brothers and sisters-in-law.

Frank graduated from Hurdland High School.  He served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1968 including 18 months on the East/West German border.  Frank was employed most of his life as a salesman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina, MO.  Father Boniface Kasita will officiate the services.

Burial will at a later date in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Music will be provided by Carol Fox and Brent Karhoff.
