Elvin Dean Klocke, age 70, of Edina, MO, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, MO.
He was born May 30, 1950, in Knox County, MO, the son of Raymond Willard and Beulah Catherine True Klocke.
Elvin graduated from Knox County High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his earlier years Elvin worked on the family farm and was employed as a truck driver for Hustead Trucking. Elvin moved to Texas where he continued Trucking until his retirement in 2017 when he retired and returned to Edina, MO. Elvin enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, collecting sports memorabilia, and woodworking.
Surviving are one sister, Sharon Kemper of Clayton, IL, one brother Leland Klocke of Edina, MO, a sister-in-law Elizabeth Klocke of Virden, IL, seven nieces and one nephew along with numerous cousins.
Elvin was preceded by his parents, one sister, Linda Kay Klocke, two half-brothers Raymond Junior and William Francis Klocke.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, in Bee Ridge Cemetery MO. Reverend Graig Connell will officiate the services.
Casket bearers will be Jim Glasgow, Leroy Cardwell, Dale Klocke, Larry Klocke, Gary Klocke and Darrell Klocke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26 th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
Memorials are suggested to the Bee Ridge Cemetery or Hospice Compasses of Macon, MO.
