Elizabeth Darlene Day, age 88 of Brashear, MO, passed away Thursday evening, October 25, 2018 at the Clarence Care Center in Clarence, MO.

Born December 6, 1929, in Knox County, MO she was a daughter of Charles Emery and Elizabeth Berryman Hettinger.

Surviving are two daughters, Debra Sizemore and Dwayne of Hurdland, MO and Diane Sizemore and Jerry of Bevier, MO; nine grandchildren, Cameron and Christy Sizemore, Pamela and Brandon Mihalevich, Troy and Jennifer Sizemore, Nicole Sizemore, Sabrina and Christopher Weaver, Jared and Jennifer Sizemore, Emery Sizemore, Heidi Day, Andre' (AJ) Johnson and Clay and Tish Johnson; twenty-eight great grandchildren Makenzie Sizemore, Breanna Morrison, Ameal, Amos and Avery Sturgeon, Anna Zahn, Davin and Triston Morrison, Gus Mihalevich and Erin, Harli Mihalevich, Alex Brown, Dean Sizemore, Norman, Jaryn, Shelbi and Nashellie Weaver, Dalton Sizemore, Tierra Wolfe, Bailey Sizemore, Jacob and Julie Curless, Brooke, Abygail and Coltin Sizemore, Ce'A and A'ziah Johnson, and Asher, Mara and Averie Johnson; one sister, Colleen Wileman of Brashear, MO; two sisters-in-law, Madeline Hettinger of Ft. Gratiot, MI and Doris Hettinger of Brashear, MO; one brother-in-law, Howard Florea of Edina, MO and several nieces and nephews.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia LeAnn Johnson; four brothers, Charles, Joseph, Bill and Robert Hettinger and two sisters, Betty Florea and Illene Stutsman; and four nieces and nephews, Carolyn Tompson, Amy Western, Charles David and Bobby Gene Hettinger.

Darlene graduated from Hurdland High School.  She was employed at the Glove Factory in Edina as for thirty years.  She also cleaned houses and mowed yards.  Darlene loved to quilt, crochet, embroidery and plastic canvas needle work.  She also loved dolls, flowers, animals, walking her dog all around town and spending time with her family and friends in Brashear.  Darlene attended the Brashear Community Bible Church.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2018 in the Linville Cemetery at Edina, MO.  Reverend Donnie Powell will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Casket bearers will be Jared Levi Sizemore, Emery Sizemore, Andre' (AJ) Johnson, Clay Johnson, Cameron Sizemore and Troy Sizemore.  Honorary bearers will be Dalton Sizemore, Devin Morrison, Triston Morrison and Norman Weaver.
