Earnest Clinton Jones, age 42 of Novelty, MO, passed away early, Tuesday morning July 7, 2020 at the resident of his mother.

He was born August 29, 1977 in Danville, AR the son of Luther Clinton and Sandra Gale Reppond Jones.

Surviving are his father Luther Jones and Peggy of Morrilton, AR; his mother Sandra Bowman and Gary of Novelty, MO, one daughter Pvt. First Class Ashlyn Jones serving our country in Seoul, South Korea and son Bredon Michael Jones of Novelty, MO brother David Jones of Flat River, MO, sister Beverly Beam and Jason of Dardanelle, AR and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Earnest received his education in Pottsville, AR where he graduated from High School.  He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for an asphalt Company.  He had also been employed by a lumber company at a sawmill.

Earnest was an accomplished guitarist and had composed his own music.

Services will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home in Russellville, AR.  Local arrangements by Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
