Diane Bradley, age 56 of Novelty, Missouri, passed away at her home in Novelty surrounded by her family.
She was born November 8, 1953, at Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of James Edgar and Helen Lorene Lindsey Pulse.
She was united in marriage to Dennis Leon Bradley May 25, 1980, at Plevna, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband Dennis of Novelty, Missouri, her mother Helen L. Pulse of Plevna, Missouri, two children, Bobbi Clark and husband Matt of Edina, Missouri and Ben Bradley of Novelty, Missouri, one brother Mike Pulse and wife Mary of Shelbyville, Missouri, one sister Pam Witherow and husband Richard of Baring, Missouri, two grandchildren, John and Patrick Clark, her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Bradley of Novelty, Missouri, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Diane graduated from Knox County High School in 1971, received her Master's Degree in Education in 1980, from Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville (now Truman State University) and received her Specialist in Education Degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 2000.
Diane taught in several schools including Tipton, Schuyler County, and twenty-seven years at Adair County R II School at Brashear, Missouri, where she was also a guidance counselor and later Superintendent from 2001, until her retirement in 2008. Diane was a member of the Plevna Christian Church and attended the Locust Hill Community Church.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening, playing the piano, mowing her yard, visiting with faculty and students from Brashear High School and most of all loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, October 15, 2010, at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. Reverend Mike Wilson will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Novelty Cemetery.
Music will be provided by Jim and Kyle Clark.
Casket bearers will be Dickie Pulse, Jim Lindsey, Matt Beach, Tim Ahern, Chris Ahern and Terry Ahern.
Honorary bearers will be her Rainbow survivors cancer support group.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010, with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.
