Delores Oneita "Dee" Gray of Galesburg, IL passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2024, in the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, IL.

She was born in Philadelphia, MO on October 10, 1935, the daughter of Chester and Bessie Cornelia Brocksmith Tourney.

Surviving are two children, Dennis (Maura) Gray of Gulfport, MS and Phyllis (Matt) Givan of East Galesburg, IL, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Gary Gray, her long-time companion Bill Little, two brothers and sisters-in-law.

Dee received her education in Philadelphia, MO.  She lived several years in Quincy, IL where she was employed at Harris Corporation for ten years and Broadcast Electronic for twenty-five years till retiring.  She and her companion Bill (Shorty) Little also spent time in Knox County, MO.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and could play the organ and piano by ear.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, in the Linville Cemetery in Edina, MO.  Pastor Nancy Douglas will officiate the services.  There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
