Delene Anne Chadwick, 83, of Morton, formerly of Quincy, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Reflections Memory Care in Morton.
She was born on September 18, 1936, in Hurdland, Mo., to Laverne and Mae (Mason) Chadwick.
Surviving are her daughter Martha Ryan of Springfield, Ill..; seven nieces; two nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Delene graduated from high school at the age of 16 and worked as a secretary in the insurance industry.
She was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching football and basketball. She had a love for animals, particularly cats, and enjoyed feeding and watching the birds at her residence.
Delene loved her family, especially her great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Days of Grace Fellowship in Morton, with Pastor Randy Hall officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the church.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in I.O.O.F Cemetery in Hurdland, MO.
