Deborah Lynn Roush, age 56, of Knox City, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at her home north of Knox City. She was born May 21, 1961, at Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Kenneth Jean and Dorothy Marie Hubble Edwards.
She was united in marriage to Henry Roush on July 1, 1994, at Knox City, MO.
Surviving are her husband Henry Roush of Knox City, MO, two step children Paula Roush and her husband Steve Cole of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Joseph Paul Roush of Corpus Christi, Texas, one brother Kenneth Michael Edwards of Knox City, MO, one sister Sharon Marie Rathbun and husband Mark of Maywood, MO, four step grandchildren, Rae Ann Cole, Nicholas, Brian and Trinity Roush, and several nieces and nephews. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, one step grandchild Thomas Paul Burke and a sister-in-law Tina Edwards.
Deborah attended school at Knox City, MO and graduated from Knox County High School. She was employed for several years at the glove factory in Edina, employed for some time as an in home living assistant and for over twenty years with Heartland Resources. She was a member of the Knox City Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed attending Church, fishing, hunting, turtles hummingbirds and her cats.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend John H. Czubkowski will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery northeast of Edina, MO. Music will be provided by Paul and Marsha Burton.
Casket bearers will be Keith Payne, David Roush, Jim Lasher, Rick Hubble, Chris Edwards and Robert Roush. Honorary bearers will be Rodney Roush, Kenny Edwards and Joseph Roush.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
