Daniel Glen "Danny" Pulis age 81, of Edina passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, in Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.
Danny was born August 6, 1939, in Edina, MO the son of Glen and Bessie "Marie" Kenoyer Pulis.
Danny lived his entire life in Edina and at the same residence for sixty years. He attended the Edina Public School. He worked a short time for the Edina Cleaners and then worked alongside his father as a painter and paperhanger. After his father's retirement Danny continued in the business for many years.
For two years he was a member of the Knox County Rescue Squad. He was also a lifetime member of The Edina Assembly of God Church and drove the church van for many years.
Danny volunteered his time delivering meals for the Knox County Nutrition Center and working at The Edina Clothes Closet. Danny enjoyed his family and church. One of Danny's proudest moments was his trip to the Holy land several years ago. Danny also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and assembling model cars and boats.
Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Joseph Myers of LaBelle, MO and a niece and a nephew and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Mike Myers and Reverend David Atkins will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Karen Stone, David Hamlin, Dwayne Waller, Kent Hagerla, Dean Inskip and J.L. Brenizer.
Visitation will be held Monday June 7, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
Memorials are suggested to Knox County Nutrition Site or Linville Cemetery. Memorials may b left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, MO 63537.
