Claribel (Clara) Finck Knoche – LaBelle, MO

Clara Finck Knoche, 85, of LaBelle, died Sunday, (January 5, 2014) suddenly in her home.
She was born March 26, 1928, in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of Frank H. Finck, Sr. and Marguerite Silva Hopkins Finck.
She was united in marriage to William (Bill) Knoche, Sr. on March 1, 1948 in the Lutheran Parsonage in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death November 16, 2007. Clara was a member of the Lewistown Baptist Church.
Clara spent most of her life with her husband farming in the Steffenville and LaBelle area. She was an amazing cook and candy maker. Above all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her joy for life and her love of playing cards; and of course, going to the boat!
She is survived by her six children. Four sons, William (Bill) Knoche, Jr. (Betty) and Samuel Knoche (Mary) of Ewing, MO, John Knoche (Susan) of LaGrange, MO and Dale Knoche (Cindy) of Defiance, MO. Two daughters, Debbie Manyx (Russell Goodhart) of Knox City, MO and Tammy Knoche of LaBelle, MO.
She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren. Brian Manyx (Amy) of Kirksville, MO, Jeremy Knoche (Penny) of Russellville, MO, Andrea (Ian) Gunkler, of Lexington, KY and Trey Knoche of Korea, Megan (Adam) Wardlow of Quincy, IL, Evan Knoche of LaGrange, MO, Ashlan Knoche of Kansas City, MO and Luke Knoche of Kirksville, MO and Taylor Knoche of Defiance, MO, Angela Wilson-Johnsen of Kelseyville, CA, Meridith (Brian) Reed and Cody Wilson of Palmyra, MO and Heather Roman of Seattle, WA.
She enjoyed her twelve great grandchildren. Kierra and Tristan Manyx, Jillian, Evan, Ava and Nicholas Johnsen, Alexandria, Brianna and Dylon Reed, Caleb and Ava Jo Knoche and Penn Wardlow.
Also surviving is one sister, Janice Echternkamp of Edina, MO, two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Finck of Markham, IL and Sue Johnson of Canton, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her parents, her sisters, Dorothy Pflum and Ruth Smith, a brother Frank Finck, Jr. and an infant child, preceded her in death.
Services will be at Lewistown Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 with Rev. Ted Middleton officiating. Burial will be in Steffenville Cemetery.
Casket Bearers will be her grandsons and honorary bearers will be her granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, January 10, 2013, at Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
