Catherine Ann (Cathy) Lowe, age 60 of LaBelle, MO, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012, in Columbia, MO. She was born in Edina, MO, on March 2, 1952, the daughter of Raymond and Opal Rose Franks Levengood.
She was united in marriage to John Arthur Lowe on November 9, 1984, at Columbia, MO.
Surviving are her husband John of LaBelle, MO, three sisters, Jeannie Stewart of husband Butch of LaBelle, MO, Barb Sedelmeir and husband Gene of Ewing, MO, and Cindy Coslan and husband David of Independence, LA, one aunt Ina Marie Austin of Lewistown, MO, one uncle Dan Franks of Tennessee, several step brothers and sisters and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, one step brother Mark Eversole and several aunts and uncles.
Cathy attended schools in LaBelle. She was employed as a Nurse's Aide for several years at LaBelle Manor. She was a member of the LaBelle Christian Church. Cathy had a very big heart and loved babies and children. She was always willing to do things for people.
Memorial services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. in the LaBelle Cemetery. Officiating the services will be Reverend Maynard Blackwood. Music will be provided by Pam and Courtney Stewart.
There will be no visitation. Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle is in charge of the arrangements.
