Bryon Dean Shultz, age 57, of LaBelle, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Bryon was born February 22, 1967, in Quincy, IL the son of Jerry Fred and Patricia Lee Dodd Shultz. Bryon married Donnita Garrett in 1991 in Kirksville, MO and to this union three children were born, Caleb, Andrew and Elisha.
Surviving are his mother Pat Shultz of Rutledge, MO, three children Caleb Shultz and Santana of Knox City, MO, Andrew Shultz and Amanda Harris of Kirksville, MO and Elisha Shultz of Kirksville, MO, and a special friend Sallie Applegate. Also surviving are one brother Jerry W. Shultz and Judy of Rutledge, MO, one sister Kelly Strange and Bobby of Rutledge, MO, ten grandchildren Aiden, Jace, Bentlee, Stella, Elias, Keely, Hattie, Zaylee, Elliott and Dottie and several nieces and nephews.
Bryon was preceded in death by his father, two brothers Stacey Lewis Shultz and Ronald Eugene Shultz.
Bryon graduated from Knox County High School and attended one year in Tech School in Iowa. Bryon farmed in Northeast MO most of his life. He also owned and operated the Almost Bar and Grill in LaBelle for several yers. He loved demolition derby, hunting, fishing, karaoke, and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 20, 2024, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Visitation will begin at 12 pm noon and services will begin at 2 p.m. Pastor Mike Myers will officiate the services. Burial will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.
Musical selections will be Monsters, Paint Me A Birmingham and Closing Time.
Casket bearers will be Caleb Shultz, Andrew Shultz, Jim Roland, Michael "Sly" Erwin, Bobby Strange and Jerry Shultz. Honorary bearers will be Jay Mallett, Richard Edwards, Daniel Shultz, Donald Shultz, and David Shultz.
