Beverly June Crain, age 74, of Lewistown, MO, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014, in the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
She was born on February 3, 1940, in St. Francois County, MO the daughter of Chester and Lawanna Rose Dickens Summers.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Leon Crain on June 29, 1957, in Aurora, IL and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, step-father Conrad Moen, and two sisters Karen Collyer and Naomi Summers.
Surviving are four children, Michael Crain of Lewistown, MO and his love Becky Booth of Quincy, IL, Nora Crain of LaBelle, MO, Tracy Hayes and friend Brent Kaylor of LaBelle, MO, and Jo-Ann Schultz and husband Russell of Baring, MO, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a half-sister Sylvia Walton and husband Herbie of Plano, IL, a half-brother Steve Moen of Oswego, IL, a special family friend Joe O'Brien of St. Ann, MO and several nieces and nephews.
Beverly graduated from East Aurora High School in Aurora, IL. Since 1970 she has resided on the farm east of Lewistown, MO. Beverly enjoyed craft shows, bingo and was an artist having sold many paintings.
Graveside services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, November 5, 2014, on the family farm east of Lewistown, MO. There will be no visitation. Reverend Doug Wilson will officiate the services.
