Benjamin Arthur (Benny) Kaylor , age 77, of LaBelle, MO, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Country aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown, MO.
He was born January 15, 1947, in Keokuk, IA he son of Benjamin Jack and Virginia Mae Bartz Kaylor. He was united in marriage to Billie Louise McCabe on June 30, 1967 in LaBelle, MO and she preceded him in death on March 1, 2010. To this union three sons were born. On May 11, 2013, he was united in marriage to Linda May Chambers.
Surviving are his wife Linda May Kaylor of Lewistown, MO, three sons, Brad (Dodie) Kaylor of LaBelle, MO, Brian (Melissa) Kaylor of Lewistown, MO, and Brent (Kari) Kaylor of LaBelle, MO, 2 step children Melissa (Fran) Cole, Norman (Casey) Strickland, one brother Leroy (Sharon) Kaylor of Sebring, FL, 9 grandchildren, McKenzie Kaylor, Kendra Geisendorfer, Shelby (Dalton) Rockhold, Ashley Kaylor, Dalton Kaylor, Dawson Kaylor, Skylar Kaylor, Waid Kaylor and Will Kaylor, one step grandchild Cody Morgensern, 5 great grandchildren Ryker Kaylor, Lainey Walsh, Wrenley Rockhold, Oaklynn Kaylor and Iverson Kaylor, 5 step great grandchildren, Nora Strickland, Christian Strickland, Aiden Strickland, Michael Borowski and Christina Placios (Leo) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Benny was preceded in death by his parents, one Great Grandson Dax Kaylor, two brothers, two sisters, several aunts and uncles.
Benny graduated from Lewistown High School. He worked for 40 years at Bartz Auto Parts and 18 years at Knapheide Manufacturing in Quincy, IL, until his retirement. Benny was a 30-year member of the LaBelle Fire Department, Member and Past Master of LaBelle Masonic Lodge # 222 A.F. & A.M., and a member of the Baptist Church Lewistown, MO. Benny enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with friends, buying lottery tickets. Benny enjoyed people and never knew a stranger.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Masonic Services will follow beginning at 4 p.m. Burial will be later in the LaBelle Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Donor's Choice. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, MO 63447.
