Barbara Lou Ratliff, age 86, of Edina, MO, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at her home in Edina.  She was born September 3, 1934, in Edina, MO, the daughter of Dallas Oliver and Gertrude Marie Lewis Songer.  She was united in marriage to Cleo Franklin Ratliff on December 15, 1957, in Edina, MO and he preceded her in death on July 3, 2011.   Barbara was also preceded by her parents, one son Michael Gail Ratliff, a twin brother Davie L. Songer and a brother Neal Songer.

Surviving are three children, Brenda (Kenny) Williams of Ft. Worth, TX, Angie Pace of Ft. Worth, TX, and Joey (Nancy) Ratliff of New Melle, MO, six grandchildren, Josh, Megan, and Judson Williams, Bailey Ratliff, Tanner Robinson and Jesse Ratliff and friend Megan, one uncle Bob Lewis of Gibbs, MO, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barbara graduated from Edina High School in 1952.   She was a housewife and homemaker and in her earlier years worked at McKay's Pharmacy and Sears in Edina.  Barbara enjoyed gardening, flowers, singing and playing the piano.  She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.  During high school she was active in basketball and softball.  She was a member of the Edina Assembly of God Church and had taught Sunday school for many years.  Barbara loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.  Reverend David Atkins will officiate the services.  Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery.  Music will be provided by Audrey Hamlin, Debbie Peters, and LeAnn Hamlin.

Casket bearers will be Tanner Robinson, Jesse Ratliff, Josh Williams, Jason Violette, Kent Hagerla and Karen Stone.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
