Barbara Ann Blessing, age 65, of Lewistown, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009, in the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
She was born October 8, 1944, at Mesa, Arizona, the daughter of Raymond P. and Allene Zuspann Clark.
She was united in marriage to Fred Lee Blessing, Jr. on March 8, 1975, at Lewistown, Missouri and he preceded her in death on February 16, 1989.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, two sisters-in-law, Sue Blessing and Pat Johnson.
Surviving are her father, Raymond P. Clark of Lewistown, Missouri, three children, Edwin P. Clark and wife Angie of Fowler, Illinois, Samantha Huckstep and husband Brent of Quincy, Illinois, Sandra D. Farr and husband Scott of LaGrange, Missouri, three sisters Karan Rae Clark of Lewistown, Missouri, Patricia Stambaugh and husband Edward of LaGrange, Missouri, and Raechelle Amolle of Columbia, Missouri, five grandchildren, Autumn Clark, Cody Blessing, Abbey Clark, Isabella Huckstep, and Sydney Farr and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara lived most of her life in the Lewistown area where she graduated from Lewistown High School.
She was a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed puzzles, sewing, helping those in need and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri. Reverend Charles Sharpe will officiate the services. Burial will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.
Musical selections will be "In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross".
Casket bearers will be Donald Richmond, Donald Hutcherson, Charles Arnold Jr., Kevin Spratt, Tom Darnell, and Bennie Kaylor.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 27, 2009, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri.
